Hattie Boydle Dominates WBFF Australia Pro Am

Our very own Gut Performance Ambassador, Hattie Boydle, has won the title of WBFF Australia Pro Am Australian Diva Fitness Champion!

The Star Casino on the Gold Coast was buzzing with excitement as over 250 incredible athletes hit the stage, each one giving it their all. Among them, Hattie stood out, showcasing her unwavering dedication, earning her the top spot in a division featuring 30 exceptional competitors. We couldn’t be prouder of our girl for bringing home gold!

So, what’s Hattie’s secret weapon, you ask? It’s none other than Gut Performance, of course! She swears by it, saying, “It’s my absolute go-to every day – a healthy gut means I can train harder and recover faster.” And she’s not wrong! A healthy gut is the cornerstone of a successful fitness journey, helping with everything from nutrient absorption to better sleep and reduced bloating.

But here’s the cool part – Hattie didn’t just endorse Gut Performance; she played a pivotal role in its development. Working closely with our scientists, she helped fine-tune the formula, ensuring it packs the perfect punch for gut health and athletic performance. That’s why Gut Performance has become a non-negotiable in her daily routine.

Hattie knows firsthand that achieving weight loss, reducing body fat, building muscle, and transforming body composition all hinge on having a gut that performs. And with Gut Performance in her corner, there’s no stopping her!

We’re also super proud to be a sponsor of the WBFF Australia, supporting incredible athletes like Hattie Boydle who embody our commitment to health and fitness excellence.

Gut Performance is a proud Sponsor of The WBFF Australia

The World Beauty Fitness and Fashion (WBFF) Australia, is part of WBFF Worldwide, a showcase for athletes to show their months of hard work and discipline on stage. It’s not just ‘muscle’ but fashion and fitness. The Australian Shows are recognised for being one of ‘The Best’ in the world amongst athletes and sponsors and we are really proud to be a part of it.

Gut Performance was developed with athletes in mind. We worked with Dr Mal, Scientist and Visiting Fellow of Macquarie Uni, trialling one of the key ingredients in Gut Performance to see why people taking it had improved gut function and in turn showing an overall improvement in the way they felt.

Our Ambassador Hattie Boydle is a WBFF World Champion and an Internationally recognised Health and Fitness Advocate. Hattie knew that one of the key foundations to gaining peak performance comes from having good gut health. Hattie was honoured to be asked by Scientist, Dr Mal and the Gut Performance Team to be involved in the further development of Gut Performance and it remains her daily go-to gut health product.

More and more research shows that your guts’ performance is critical to your athletic performance.

Now, hundreds of athletes and people around the world have made Gut Performance their go-to gut health product.

Upcoming WBFF events will be held in Australia

Happy birthday to us!

This month marks three years since we launched to Market and almost 7 years in the making!

Gut Performance was actually born almost 10 years ago in 2010 from a CSIRO and Macquarie Uni research group led by our own Dr Mal., Scientist and Visiting Fellow of Macquarie Uni.

Dr Mal was given a mission and a government grant to find out if sugarcane pulp could be repurposed for health and wellness that could be clinically proven.

Dr Mal and his Team spent a lot of time in his favourite place, the lab, to work out how to extract the sugarcane fibre so the whole cell could be kept intact. They discovered that heat and chemicals destroyed the whole-cell fibre, so a technique to extract the cell fibre intact was developed and they struck gold.

It was deemed to be more effective than any other soluble fibre on the market.

Linda Boydle, one of our Gut Performance Founders, was working as the Clinical Consultant and worked with Mal and his Team. The ingredient was trialled with great results in managing Blood Sugar Levels and improving gut health. Clinical trials were conducted as well as external trials and we used diverse groups of people with varying ongoing health issues or ongoing treatment for acute and chronic illness as well as women who considered themselves to be ‘healthy’ but suffering weight gain and bloating.

In 2014, we wanted to see whether this amazing by-product would affect a ‘healthy person’ and we asked WBFF World Champion, Hattie Boydle to be our guinea pig.

She said no. Hattie is of the belief that if she isn’t using or needing a product she won’t take it or promote it.

It was a year later that Hattie was in early stages of comp prep for the ‘Worlds’ that she caught a stomach ‘bug’ and we encouraged her to try the early version of Gut Performance.

She has never looked back.

From there we became Every Body Every Day, the Boydle Family Business.

Working with our great friend and Scientist Whizz, Dr Mal, Hattie had tremendous input into the key ingredients into Gut Performance. “They must have some benefit for gut health and exercise recovery” she insisted. All evidenced-based, researched and most importantly 100% natural Food.

As an active, health-conscious family, we wanted a product that we would take ourselves and be homegrown.

We launched Gut Performance™ Original, a Natural ‘Food as Medicine’ product onto the shelves and into the Health and Fitness industry in late August 2018.

Gut Performance™ is something we are so incredibly proud of. A ‘Supermix’ of three PREbiotic foods with their essential micronutrients. The highest quality ingredients, scientifically formulated in a unique blend made with great love and care and it works.

Our Testimonials have blown us away and come from all over the world.

Gut Performance™ Original has been certified by Monash University as low FODMAP and available on the monashlowfodmap App.

Every Body Every Day is a gut health-focused company and we will continue to research and develop new 100% natural ‘food as medicine’ products.

We are launching the ultimate gut repair product!

Gut Performance Collagen

We are thrilled to announce the newest addition to the Gut Performance range – Gut Performance + Collagen!

We will be launching this exciting new product with a special introductory offer available to Gut Performance subscribers.

For everyone else, this new product will be available to buy online from August 16th.

Stay tuned for new blog posts coming soon about Collagen for Gut Health and more.

GP Lover: Hayley Thorburn (aka The Fit Healthy Mumma)

How did you get into fitness? Was it before or after kids?

About 12 years ago I put on alot of weight and didn’t feel comfortable within myself. So I did what most people do and went for a quick fix and also started walking everyday.

I love being outside and walking, so for me it was easy to do.

It wasn’t until after I had kids that I joined the gym to do the classes but it didn’t take long until I was hooked and in the real gym lifting weights.

You are a mum of 3 beautiful, happy, healthy kids with your own beauty business. How do you manage your time to train, run a happy family and eat so well?

Eating well, training in the gym and having a fun and happy life with my babies is my priority. So I organised my time around those things.

I block out time in my diary every weekday for the gym and my clients.

Also having meals prepped or just having healthy options ready to go keeps you on track.

Then when the weekend come, we love it. That’s my time to just be with the kids and enjoy getting active and adventurous outdoors.

I’ve usually always got the kids lunchboxes packed with goodness, even on the weekends. It just makes thing easy.
So the key is to be organised and get up early so you start your day right.

As health clinicians here at Gut Performance we are blown away and seriously impressed with how you feed your kids ‘the rainbow’ of plant-based food in their lunchboxes and smoothies. And they love it! Any tips for our Gut Performance mums out there wanting to do the same?

Thank you so much, that absolutely means so much to me.

Before I had kids I had already decided that we were going to live a fit and healthy lifestyle together. I wanted them to know healthy and nutritious food was what we eat daily to fuel our minds and bodies. Not just something you only do when you want to lose weight or have a health kick for a couple of weeks. Healthy eating and looking after ourselves is a way of life. And we love it!

So now with their lunches, smoothies, smoothie bowls and healthy treats, it’s not something I really think about, it’s just something I do with a passion for my babies.

My advice to other mum’s and dads is to involve the kids. Get them to choose what veggies and fruit they want. Give them choices of healthy alternatives to things they may be eating now. Get them in the kitchen so they can be involved in the process of creating goodness.

But the biggest thing is YOU have to be the role model. You have to show them healthy living by doing it yourself aswell.
They will do what we do and they will love what we love. So show them with love and passion.

4. Your vibrancy and energy are contagious! We know you eat a diverse range of good food and understand the importance of good gut health. Why did you start Gut Performance and what difference, if any, do you feel?

Although I was eating really well, I was still getting bloated every night. Some nights I was so bloated I felt like I was out of breath.

I tried cutting out certain foods and slowly introducing them back in to see what was causing the bloating but couldn’t really find anything.

I saw a fitness bikini model on Instagram who said her bloating had reduced since using Gut Performance, so I decided to give it a go. It has made the world of difference, I very very rarely get bloated anymore. I would never give this product up, EVER.

GP Lover: Debbie

Meet Gut Performance Lover Debbie. Mother of 3 boys. Grandmother of 2. Cake Baker. Yoga Lover. Cancer Survivor.

Who is Debbie?

I am 64 years old. A Mother, Wife, Grandmother. I was diagnosed with Non Hodgkins Lymphona in May 2011. I had chemotherary over a period of 5 years and continue on immunotherapy to this day.

When and why did you introduce Gut Performance into your Every Day?

Amongst other things, Chemotherapy and the medications I had to take really affected my gut health. I became severely bloated and constipated, two things that had never happened to me before. I didn’t want to rely on laxatives as I felt it was a band-aid effect to bigger gut health issues I had going on.

It was at this time I had heard of the trials of the ingredients in Gut Performance and asked the Clinical Team if I could be a part of the trial. That was 2012 and I have never looked back.

I have Gut Performance every day, twice a day if I am on a course of antibiotics or if I am extremely nauseated. I know that I am getting the essential micronutrients into my diet for my gut health. I can honestly say that over the time I have been taking Gut Performance my gut health and regularity has been amazingly managed.

What other things did you do to help on the road to Recovery?

I’ll credit Gut Performance and maintaining my gut health as a huge part of my recovery along with a positive outlook, Yoga, walking, a healthy diet and being surrounded by family and friends.

You are fit and happy and healthy Deb. Any tips for those on a similar road as you?

  • Keep Positive.
  • Care for your health generally and look after your gut.
  • Eat well.
  • Exercise regularly even if it’s a short walk

GP Lover: Claudia Weston

“Hi, my name is Claudia Weston.  I am 21 years old, I live on the Gold Coast and I’m training to become a professional stunt performer.  I have been a competitive athlete from the age of 5. I started off as a swimmer and surfer then moved into international power tumbling gymnastics.

I grew up in a family of both international elite athletes and fun competitive athletes – my brother and dad both surf competitively and my mum was an Australian BMX racer at a young age as well as being a gymnast and runner.

I currently coach tumbling /trampoline and work alongside the NDIS helping children to move and achieve a range of motion they have never before been able to perform. Being hands-on with coaching 6 hrs per day and training every day it’s important that my recovery is quick.

I started taking Gut Performance around 12 months ago due to always feeling bloated and digestive issues alongside a slow recovery. I did try 2 other gut health products before Gut Performance, but there were no changes in how I felt with energy levels or with my digestion.

It wasn’t until I decided to try Gut Performance after hearing amazing reviews on it. A week after taking Gut Performance daily I noticed a huge difference in my energy levels – I was less fatigued, recovered faster – but best of all it’s made me ‘regular’ again! Now my mum is addicted to the product and lots of my family and friends are now taking Gut Performance and have never looked back.

I truly do believe fixing your overall health must start in the gut. I am forever thankful for Gut Performance and would be lost with out it. Your health starts from the inside.”
